The Lindenwood men's tennis team lost Saturday by a 6-3 score as the Lions travelled to Missouri-St. Louis to take on the Tritons.

In the No. 1 match, Rodrigo Traldi had a close contest but lost 5-7, 6-4, 10-2 while Eric Toucoulou also fell to the Tritons by a score of 7-5, 0-6, 6-4 in the No. 2 match. Rahul Sadhwani and Will Hale also competed but lost as well. Gauthier Schilling won the No. 3 contest 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 and Thiago Mastroianni had the first sweep for Lindenwood as he won 7-5, 6-4.

The Lions also competed in doubles competition where Sadhwani and Schilling had the only victory winning 9-7. The team of Traldi and Toucoulou lost 8-4 while Otavio Costa and Hale teamed up but lost by the same score.

The men's tennis team will travel to Evansville, Ind., on Wednesday, March 23 to take on Southern Indiana. Game time is set to begin at 2 p.m.
