Box Score The Lindenwood Lady Lions soccer team fell to the Missouri Southern Lions 6-3 on Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood got on the scoreboard first just five minutes into the game when Hayley Wagner scored to give the home team 1-0. Missouri Southern tied score at the 12 minute mark and then took the lead 16 minutes later. The game headed into the halftime break with the visitors leading 2-1.

The second half started with the Lady Lions tying the game up in quick fashion. Just nine minutes into the half Bailey Cody scored to tie the score. But after that point the game was all Missouri Southern. The visitors scored four goals in a span 17 minutes.

The final Lindenwood goal was scored by Davah Bruce who scored on a penalty kick.

The loss drops the Lady Lions to 3-5-1 on the season. Up next for Lindenwood is a home game on Thursday night against Missouri Valley.
