Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Lady Lion goalkeeper Jade Davis was named the MIAA Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for her performance during the first two matches of the 2012 season.

Davis led the Lady Lions to one win and one tie while earning two shutouts over the weekend. In a double-overtime contest
against Illinois-Springfield, Davis saved seven shots on goal. In game two, she led Lindenwood to a victory against Missouri-St. Louis as she saved all five shots on goal. She has started every minute in goal for the Lady Lions this season.

Davis is the first Lindenwood student-athlete to win the MIAA award. The junior goalkeeper is a native of Charleston, S.C. and now has four shutouts in just nine starts for the Lady Lions.
