The contest started off quickly for Lindenwood with a quick 7-0 run over the first three minutes. But the momentum that the Lions had was quickly sent to the Bronchos side as the visitors went on a 7-0 run of their own to tie the game.
Over the next 10 minutes the two teams traded the lead seven times. With the game tied at 27 and 3:01 to go in the half, Lindenwood closed with a 10-4 run to take a six-point advantage into the locker room.

After two free throws by Central Oklahoma and three, the game was tied just like that with just over a minute to play in the game.
Brett Thompson was fouled after making a layup and proceeded to make his free throw to give Lindenwood the three-point lead.
Unfortunately for the Lions the same thing happened on the other end of the court. Spencer Smith was fouled while making the layup and completed the three-point play to tie the score again.
Richie Thompson was fouled on the next possession but made just one-of-two free throws. The free throw gave the home team a one-point lead. That lead was short lived as Cal Andrews hit a wide open three in the corner to regain the lead for the Bronchos.
Trailing by two
Alex Bazzell was fouled in the act of shooting and went to the line to try and knot up the score with just 26 seconds to go. Bazzell could only hit one-of-two and the Lions trailed by one. Seth Heckert made a pair of free throws to push the lead to three for Central Oklahoma.
Lindenwood had two shots to tie the game as the clock expired but to no avail and the Bronchos won a big conference road game.
