Box Score Despite being up by as many as 14 on several occasions in the first half, the Lindenwood women's basketball team fell on Saturday afternoon to Lincoln by a score of 72-63.

Led by Marissa Lehnig with 13 points, the Lady Lions held control of the lead from just under two minutes into the contest until the final 45 seconds of the half. That would be the final lead of the game for the Lady Lions.

In the final 10 minutes of the first half, momentum switched over to the Blue Tigers as Lincoln produced a 13-5 run bringing them within six of the Lady Lions with 7:26 left in the half. The Lindenwood lead would hover between four and seven points before a three-pointer by Lincoln's Freddie Sims would bring the visitors within one with 1:07 left in the half. A foul by Lehnig with 45 seconds remaining put Sims at the free-throw line where she made back-to-back baskets giving Lincoln the one-point half-time lead.

Lincoln continued to maintain momentum in the start of the second half, going up by as many as 10 seven minutes into the half. Lindenwood continually would chip at the Lincoln lead but would only come within two on two occasions.
