Box Score The Lindenwood women's hockey team scored first on Saturday in Bemidji, Minn., but Bemidji State scored the final four goals of the game in a 4-1 win over the Lady Lions.
 
Just seven seconds into a power play in the first period, Katie Erickson scored with an assist from Carrie Atkinson. It took the Beavers just over one minute though to tie the game at one.
 
The score remained 1-1 until the third period and the turning point came while the Lady Lions were on another power play. The Beaver scored two shorthanded goals within 35 seconds of each other to take a 3-1 advantage. Bemidji State added one more goal less than two minutes later and that was the final goal of the game.
 
Lindenwood was outshot 39-20 in the game. The Lady Lions did have the only power-play goal, but they were one-for-seven with a man advantage, while Bemidji State was 0-for-five.
 
Lindenwood falls to 0-7-1 on the season. It travels to nationally-ranked Wisconsin next weekend for a pair of games.
