Box Score The Lindenwood women's volleyball team got back on the winning track with a three sets to one victory over Missouri Southern Saturday afternoon.
Emma Brydels continued to excel as the team's assist leader. Brydels ended the four set match with a match-high 39 assists.
The Lady Lions got off to the quick start in the tightly contested match winning the first set 25-22. This was followed by an intense second set in which the home team was able to even the match at one set a piece.Â
Lindenwood bounced back from the loss in the second set to come back with back-to-back set wins in the third and fourth to take the road victory.

Megan Dillon led the Lady Lions in kills with each of them earning more than 10 kills. The Lady Lions earned the edge in kills, digs, assists, and hitting percentage.Â
With the victory, Lindenwood improved to 5-11 on the year and 2-3 in MIAA play. Next up for the Lady Lions is another road test. This one coming at the Mark Twain Building against the University of Missouri-St. Louis in a battle of rivals.
