Box Score The No. 14 Lindenwood Lions scored two late goals to upend the Oakland City Oaks 2-0 on Wednesday night in St. Charles, Mo.
The first half was all defense as neither team could dent the scoreboard. The second half looked to be much of the same until the three minute mark when the Lions netted two goals.
The first goal came on a penalty kick by Ignacio Romero. Then one minute later
Craig McTear scored after a perfect pass from Romero giving the Lions the 2-0 edge.
After the win the Lions improve to 10-0-1 overall. Up for the Lions will be a road game at Northeastern State.
