The Lindenwood women's hockey team picked up a 1-1 tie in CHA action on Saturday afternoon in Wentzville, Mo. The Lady Lions and RIT Tigers skated 65 minutes before a 1-1 decision.

Nicole Hensley was the main star for Lindenwood after facing 45 shots and allowing just one past her. RIT goalie Ali Binnington had to make just 21 saves in the game. RIT was one-for-eight on the power play compared to one-for-four for Lindenwood.

Lindenwood never trailed in the contest after scoring a power-play goal at the 16:25 mark in the second period. It would only hold the lead for five minutes when the Tigers answered with a power-play goal. Neither team could get a shot past Hensley or Binnington for the rest of the game.

Lindenwood's goal was scored by Katie Erickson, with assists from Alyssa West and Jordyn Constance.

The Lady Lions continue CHA action next weekend at Robert Morris.
