Series Notes
- The Lindenwood hockey team has a unique Saturday-Sunday series this weekend when it hosts Mercyhurst at the Lindenwood Ice Arena. Game one will be played at 2 p.m., followed by a noon game on Sunday.
- Lindenwood is currently 2-14-2 on the season, including 2-2-0 in the last four games. Mercyhurst enters play this weekend with a 12-5-2 record.
- Mercyhurst is in second play in the CHA with a 5-2-1 mark, six points behind Robert Morris. Lindenwood is fifth with a 2-5-1 record, three points behind fourth-place Syracuse.
- Mercyhurst is the only conference opponent that Lindenwood has not recorded a point against yet. Last season, the Lakers swept all four games. The scores were 6-1 and 6-0 in Wentzville, and 10-0 and 5-1 at Mercyhurst.
- Lindenwood is 0-8-0 all-time against Mercyhurst, including 0-4-0 in Wentzville. The Lakers were nationally-ranked in all eight of those meetings.

Caitlyn Post are the leading Lindenwood scorers against Mercyhurst among current players. Both have one goal and one assist.

A Look Back at Syracuse
- Lindenwood split a CHA series for the second straight week and picked up at least one point in a conference series for the third time in four series this year.
- In game one of the series,
Katie Erickson scored the game-winning goal with 6.7 seconds remaining in a 2-1 win.
- In the final period of that game,
Nicole Hensley made 24 saves and Lindenwood successfully killed off eight minutes of power play.
- Syracuse won game two of the series by a 4-1 margin. The Orange had a shorthanded goal, power-play goal, and an empty-net goal as part of their scores.

- One CHA team, Robert Morris, is nationally-ranked. The Colonials are No. 10 in both national polls. Mercyhurst is receiving votes in one of the polls.
- Robert Morris currently leads the CHA with an 8-1-1 record. It is followed by Mercyhurst and RIT (4-3-1).
- The CHA Players of the Week are: Mercyhurst's Chrstine Bestland (Player of the Week), Robert Morris' Jessica Dodds (Goalie of the Week), and Syracuse's Larissa Martynuik (Rookie of the Week).

- Mercyhurst has won five straight games and has outscored opponents 24-6 in that span.
- The Lakers are ranked in the top-10 nationally in both scoring offense (3.3) and scoring defense (1.7).
