Lady Lions Welcome Central Missouri On Saturday

• Lindenwood will host Central Missouri in the second to last home game of the season on Saturday.

• Central Missouri moved up five spots this past week to No. 11 in the WBCA USA Today Sports Division II Top-25 Coaches' Poll. This matches the highest the Jennies have been ranked this season.

• This is the first meeting between the two schools.

• This is Lindenwood's first meeting this season against Central Missouri. The Lady Lions will travel to Warrensburg on February 13 to take on the Jennies.

• Lindenwood will host No. 11 Central Missouri in its second to last home game of the season on Saturday.

• As of January 28, Julie Hlinak is 17th in the conference in scoring average at 11.2 points per game.

• Lindenwood has moved up to eighth in the conference in free-throw percentage. The Lady Lions shoot 68.8 percent from the line.

• Three Lady Lions average double-digit points. Julie Hlinak leads the team with 11.2 per game, followed by Sarah Schnieders with 10.78 and freshman Tori Kuhn with 10.4.

Jenny Rocha recorded her career-high in points against Southwest Baptist with 10. She has also led the team in assists on six occasions this season.

Sarah Schnieders and Meagan Hittle have started in every game they have played in for the Lady Lions this season.

Tori Kuhn has gone perfect from the free-throw line in six games this season. For the year, she is averaging .750 percent from the line.

Marissa Lehnig recorded her 100th career asisst in the game against Southwest Baptist.

Sarah Schnieders has cracked the top-10 list for most points scored in a career. Schnieders is tied for ninth alongside Tracey Dames with 1,104 points. Schnieders needs 83 more points to move into the top-five.

Meagan Hittle is leading the team from the charity stripe, making 80.6 percent of her free-throws.

• After the 2011-12 season, the Lindenwood women's basketball squad was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for its work in the classroom. The team finished with a team GPA of 3.567 which was the seventh-highest GPA in all of NCAA Division II.

• This season marks the inaugural season for the Lady Lions in the MIAA. The MIAA is one of the top basketball conferences in Division II.

• Due to being in NCAA Division II provisional status, the Lady Lions will not have the opportunity to compete at the MIAA conference tournament in March.

• Lindenwood will travel to Northeastern State on February 7 for a conference match-up against the River Hawks. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Last Time Out
• Lindenwood fell to Southwest Baptist on the road by a score of 69-62.

Tori Kuhn led the offense with 13 points.

Jenny Rocha went 3-for-5 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the line to score a career-high 10 points.

• The Lady Lions recorded a season-low 12 turnovers against the Bearcats.

Marissa Lehnig led the Lady Lions with six rebounds.

Sarah Schnieders owned all three of the team's steals in the contest.

Central Missouri Notes
• Under the direction of head coach Dave Slifer, the No. 11 Jennies are coming off of a 77-67 victory over Lincoln last Wednesday.

• Central Missouri picked up 12 steals against Lincoln while scoring 17 points off of turnovers.

• Keuna Flax recorded a double-double against Lincoln, scoring 22 points and snagging 11 rebounds. This season, Flax is averaging 20.6 points per game.

• Nicole Caddell is averaging a double-double for the Jennies, scoring 13.3 points per game and bringing down 10.3 rebounds per game.

• Both of Central Missouri's losses this season have come on the road during conference play.
