• Northeastern State is currently not ranked in the USA Today Division II Women's Basketball Top 25 Coaches' Poll, but they have received votes or been ranked in five polls this season, including No. 23 in the preseason poll.
• This marks the third meeting between the two teams.
• Northeastern State holds a 2-0 lead over the Lady Lions. The last meeting between the two teams was February 18, 2012 and Northeastern State defeated Lindenwood 65-47.

• The Lady Lions are tenth in the conference in field-goal percentage. Lindenwood makes 40.6 percent of its shots from the field.

• The field-goal percentage mark of 48.6 percent puts Sarah Schniederes 12th in the conference in that category.

Sarah Schnieders recorded her 500th rebound against Central Missouri after snagging nine of them.

Sarah Schnieders has cracked the top-10 list for most points scored in a career. Schnieders is tied for ninth alongside Tracey Dames with 1,104 points. Schnieders needs 73 more points to move into the top-five.

Meagan Hittle is leading the team from the charity stripe, making 78.9 percent of her free-throws.
• After the 2011-12 season, the Lindenwood women's basketball squad was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for its work in the classroom. The team finished with a team GPA of 3.567 which was the seventh-highest GPA in all of NCAA Division II.
• This season marks the inaugural season for the Lady Lions in the MIAA. The MIAA is one of the top basketball conferences in Division II.
• Due to being in NCAA Division II provisional status, the Lady Lions will not have the opportunity to compete at the MIAA conference tournament in March.

• With Randy Gipson at the helm, Northeastern State is in its first season in the MIAA. The RiverHawks have compiled a 14-6 overall record and a 9-3 mark in the MIAA.
• Taylor Lewis leads the RiverHawks offense, averaging 16.3 points per game. Tosha Tyler also contributes double-digit points with 11.2 per game.
• Sarah Green is the top rebounder for Northeastern State, averaging 5.5 boards per game.
• Northeastern State is coming off of a 73-56 victory over Missouri Western. The RiverHawks have won six out of the last seven contests.
