The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams both went on the road and beat Quincy on Thursday. The men won 7-2, giving them a 8-7 record this season. The women's team is now 6-9 after beating Quincy by a score of 8-1.
The men took two of the three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches on their way to victory. The top three singles players for the Lions were all victorious.
Eric Tucoulou won the number one singles match 6-4 and 7-6. The number two singles match was won by
Andrei Masin by a score of 6-4 and 6-2, while Yoshi Ysa won his number three singles match 6-3 and 6-2 in two sets.
On the women's side, Lindenwood swept all three doubles matches and surrendered just one of the singles matches.
Adela Slovakova won her number one singles match 6-3 and 6-2. Number two singles player
Gloria Marras gave up just two games in her match, winning 6-1 and 6-1.
Both teams are back in action at home on Friday against Southwest Baptist. It will be the last match of the season for the men.
