The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams both lost on Friday as they hosted Southwest Baptist. The women lost 0-9 and the men lost a close match 4-5. The women are now 6-10 this season with two matches remaining. Friday's match was the last one of the season for the men, and they finish 8-8 on the year.
The men's team took three of the six singles matches, but could only manage one victory in doubles play. Andre Masin played number two singles and won 6-3 and 6-1 in two sets.
Johannes Rabenhorst won number five singles 7-6 and 6-3. The Lions also won the number six singles match when
Thiago Mastroianni beat his opponent 6-4 and 7-6. Masin and Rabenhorst teamed up to win the number two doubles match 8-5. The women's team was unable to win a match.
The women's team will be back in action on Saturday at home against Principia.
