Box Score The No. 13 Lindenwood men's soccer team continued its hot start Tuesday with its third straight victory. The Lions beat the Maryville Saints 2-0 to remain undefeated.

The game was the team's home opener, and they didn't disappoint the home fans. Two first half goals within a minute of each other propelled the Lions to the victory.

Aris Nukis opened the scoring with a deep goal assisted by Andre Hayne for his third goal in three games. Andre Hayne didn't waste any time scoring a goal of his own just 50 seconds later. Hayne scored an unassisted goal to make the score 2-0.

Fermin Hughes kept the Saints off the scoreboard to earn his second shutout of the young season.

With the win the Lindenwood improved to 3-0-0 on the season. Next up for the Lions is a Friday afternoon game at Ouachita Baptist.
