Box Score The Lindenwood women's soccer team beat University of Illinois-Springfield 2-0 on Monday.

Danielle Torry scored her third goal of the year off a pass from freshman Kat Roe in the second half. Roe put one in herself less than 10 minutes later off a free kick giving the Lady Lions a 2-0 lead. Lindenwood held on for the win and as Bailey Tracy made three saves on her way to her second win.

With the win the Lady Lions move to 2-1 on the year. Lindenwood will travel to Marshall, Minn. to take on Southwest Minnesota State University on Friday at 3 p.m.
