Box Score The No. 13 Lindenwood men's soccer team continued its hot start with a 2-0 win over Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark. on Friday afternoon. The Lions have not given up a goal since the first half of their first game of the season.
Lindenwood dominated from the first whistle of the contest. After several chances that just missed the net, the Lions finally dented the scoreboard at the 30 minute mark when
Aris Nukic scored his fourth goal of the season. The rest of the first half went scoreless.
Early in the second half, Nukic struck again. He netted his second goal of the game and that was all Lindnewood needed.
Fermin Hughes once again stopped everything that came his way and recorded his third shutout of the season.
The Lions improved their record to 4-0 on the season. Up next for Lindenwood is a home game against Quincy on Tuesday night at Hunter Stadium.Â
