Box Score The Lindenwood women's volleyball team lost to No. 6 Central Missouri Saturday afternoon at Hyland Arena 3-1. The Lady Lions were just the second team to win a set against the Jennies this year but Central Missouri won the match by scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-18.

Kayla Guyot (15) and Aleah Rosenau (13) had 28 of Lindenwood's 48 kills. Emma Brydels led the Lady Lions in assists with 45.

Central Missouri started off the game fast taking the first set against Lindenwood 25-18. The Lady Lions fought back in game two as they edged Central Missouri 27-25 with some clutch plays.

Lindenwood was not able to build on this momentum though as they dropped the third set 25-16 giving Central Missouri a 2-1 lead in the match.

Central Missouri caught fire early in the matches' third set as they got off to another fast start against Lindenwood. The Lady Lions clawed their way back and managed to make the game close at 21-18. Central Missouri finished off Lindenwood after this, not allowing another point the rest of the set, defeating the Lady Lions 25-18.

Lindenwood returns to action on Tuesday with a home match against Southwest Baptist at 7 p.m.
