Lady Lions Continue Their Winning Ways

Box Score Another road test, another win for the Lindenwood women's soccer team. The Lady Lions won their third straight road game Sunday with a win over Missouri Western 2-0 in St. Joseph, Mo.

Sophomore Kirsten Crabtree led the way for the team with both goals. The goals were her first two of the season.  Crabtree's first goal came early in the second half in the 58th minute after the teams played to a scoreless first half.
            
She then netted her second goal in the 67th minute on a strike past the Missouri Western keeper.
               
Goalie Bailey Tracy continued her great play with yet another shutout for the Lady Lions.  This was her fourth shutout of the season and third in a row. 
               
The victory over Missouri Western was the second in a row against a conference opponent having beaten Northwest Missouri on Friday.
               
The win brought the Lady Lions to a 5-2 record on the year with a 2-0 record in conference.  Lindenwood comes home for their next contest against MIAA opponent Northeastern Oklahoma Friday Sept. 27 at Hunter Stadium.
