The Lindenwood men's tennis team competed at the Art Peterson Invitational in Macomb, Ill. which was hosted by Western Illinois this past weekend.

Filip Bogic made it to the finals in his division for singles. Bogic was the three seed in his flight winning 6-1 and 6-2 in round one. The second round he beat one seeded Brian Klein from Wisconsin-Whitewater 6-4 and 6-1. Filip faced another Wisconsin-Whitewater player in Mitch Granger this time falling 6-3 and 6-4 to take second place in his flight.

Sergio Lopez also reached the finals in his respective division winning his first round 6-4 and 6-1. His second round was a bit closer as his match went 6-3, 2-6, and 10-6. Lopez advanced to the championship match and lost to Max Cederkall of Western Illinois by a score of 6-1 and 6-4.

Yoshi Ysa and Johannes Rabenhorst fell in the doubles consolation championship 8-3.

The Lions will compete in the Bethany Swedes Invitational in Lindsborg, Kan. on Friday and Satruday.
