Box Score The Lindenwood women's soccer team and the Missouri Southern Lions played 110 minutes and neither team could dent the scoreboard on Sunday afternoon in St. Charles.

The Lady Lions had numerous opportunities in regulation and in overtime. Lindenwood hit the post twice in the contest and had two point blank chances in extra time.

Lindenwood outshot Missouri Southern 26-12 including an 18-6 margin on goal. Lauren Groathouse started in the net for Lindenwood and earned her first shutout of the season.

After the tie the Lady Lions run their record to 4-5-3 overall and 3-3-2 in MIAA play. Up next for Lindenwood is a road game against Northeastern State on Oct. 17.
