For the second straight day, the Lindenwood Lady Lions dominated their opponent at the FCA & Zaxby's Tip-Off Classic in Clinton, Miss. On Saturday, it was Lane College who felt the wrath of the Lady Lions 82-65.

Just like on Friday night Lindenwood took control from the opening tip and never looked back. The Lady Lions lead was up to as many as 21 in the first half and closed the opening half leading by 18.

Lane did try and get back into the game cutting the deficit to six with just over 14 minutes to play. But that was as close as Lane would get because the Lady Lions put together a 15-4 run to regain control.

Lindenwood would hold onto the lead and start the season with a four-game win streak.

Kassidy Gengenbacher led the Lady Lions with 16 points. Jenny Rocha made her first start of the season and scored 15 points while dishing out seven assists. Vanessa Zailo once again dominated the glass grabbing 14 rebounds and also scored nine points.

The Lady Lions shot 52 percent from the field and dominated the rebounding battle 48-33.

Lindenwood is now 4-0 on the season and will have a big test against McKendree on Tuesday night in Lebanon, Ill.
