The Lindenwood women's soccer team saw its season come to an end on Wednesday afternoon with a 5-0 loss to Central Oklahoma in the first round of the MIAA Tournament.

The Bronchos scored three first-half goals, starting with a header at the 15:03 mark. They would score again less than nine minutes later, and then added another goal with just 5:04 left in the first half. Central Oklahoma added two more goals in the second half, while its defense completed the shutout victory.

Central Oklahoma had a 26-5 advantage in shots, including a 14-1 lead on shots on goal.
Melissa Weiss played the first 45 minutes in goal and made five saves, while
Lauren Groathouse played the final 45 minutes and made two saves.

Lindenwood ends its season with a 7-9-3 overall record. The Lady Lions finished fifth in the MIAA in 2014 with a 6-6-2 conference mark.
