Box Score The Lindenwood men's basketball team closed out the 2013-14 regular season with a 90-74 loss to the Missouri Southern Lions in St. Charles on Thursday night.
Missouri Southern was too much for the Lindenwood on the glass outrebounding the home team 43-31 including an 18-9 margin on the offensive boards. Slim McGee had a huge night for Missouri Southern scoring 17 points and grabbing 18 rebounds to go along with five blocks as well.
Lindenwood shot 44 percent from the field while Missouri Southern was just a little higher at 45 percent. Missouri Southern took 20 more shots than Lindenwood on the night. Lindenwood turned the ball over 14 times while Missouri Southern had just seven giveaways.

Tyler Ressel led the team with 16 points.
Garrett Reeg just missed his second-straight double-double scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds.
Darris Smith also scored in double figures with 15 and added a team-high six assists.
Rayko Dundalov came off the bench to score 12 points.
The Lions end the regular season with a record of 11-18 overall and 6-13 in MIAA play. Lindenwood will be on the road to start the MIAA Conference Tournament on Tuesday Mar. 4. The opponent for the Lions will be determined after the league concludes play on Saturday afternoon.
