Box Score The Lindenwood women's basketball team lost its third straight game by falling 67-58 to Lincoln Thursday night in Jefferson City.
The Lady Lions fell to 10-10 overall and 5-8 in the conference. The Blue Tigers were winless (0-12) in conference play before the game which was played a day late because of inclement weather. The Blue Tigers led by 21 points with 15 minutes 26 seconds left in the game. It's the second straight game the Lady Lions have trailed by 20 or more points.
Despite shooting just 5 of 17 from the field, freshman
Kassidy Gengenbacher led the Lady Lions with 17 points. Gengenbacher rebounded from a seven-point performance in the loss to Missouri Western.
Senior
Marissa Lehnig (16 points) and freshman
Bre Zanders (12) also scored in double figures for the Lady Lions. It was a season high for Zanders who made her third start. Sophomore
Jenny Rocha was held scoreless for the first time this season.
Junior
Julie Hlinak scored six points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Lady Lions. Hlinak is averaging eight rebounds over the last four games.
Four Blue Tigers scored in double figures. Leading scorer Jennifer Rosado, who had topped 20 points in four of the last 10 games and leads the Blue Tigers with 13.6 points per game, scored a game-high 23 points.
Four of the Lady Lions remaining six regular season games are at Hyland Arena. They host Missouri Western Saturday at 1 p.m.
