Box Score 2 The Lindenwood women's volleyball team lost two games on Friday during day one of the Steel and Silver Classic in Colorado.

In the opener, the Lady Lions were swept by Colorado at Colorado Springs by scores of 25-18, 25-21, and 26-24. Lindenwood hit under .100 and it had 16 unblocked hitting errors.

Anna Reichert led the defense with 12 kills, and
Shannon Doyle had 11.
Sarah Makowski had a team-high nine blocks, including three solo blocks.
Jessica Krygsheld and Doyle each led the offense with eight kills, and
Ivy Reynolds had 25 assists.

In the second match, Saint Martin's survived a five-set match against Lindenwood by scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-21, 16-25, and 19-17.

Krygsheld led the team again with 16 kills, followed by Doyle with 12 and Makowski with 11. Reynolds finished with 40 assists and had three service aces. Reichert also had three service aces and finished with 22 digs. Krygsheld, Doyle and Reynolds all had double-figure digs, and Makowksi blocked six attempts.

Lindenwood concludes play at the tournament on Saturday with matches against Colorado State-Pueblo and Alaska Fairbanks.
