Box Score For the first time in 25 games, the No. 13 Lindenwood Lions men's soccer team dropped a regular season game. The Lions were shutout 6-0 by the Christian Brothers Bucs on Saturday night in Memphis, Tenn.
Christian Brothers forward Jose Ferraz started the scoring off in the 35
th minute. Just 16 seconds later, Ferraz scored his second of the game. The Bucs were not done in the first half when Shane Keely gave the home team a 3-0 lead.
The Bucs slammed the door on the Lions midway through the second half. Christian Brothers scored three goals in a span of six minutes and wrapped up the upset of Lindenwood.
The loss was the first for the Lions this season. Lindenwood is now 1-1-2 and will take on the Quincy Hawks on the road Tuesday night.
