Box Score The Lindenwood men's soccer team gave up four goals in an 18-minute span in the second half and fell to No. 11 Quincy on Tuesday night on the road. The game was scoreless until the 60
th minute when the Hawks broke through.
Lindenwood and Quincy played a very tight game for 59 minutes but in the 60
th minute things changed quickly. The Hawks scored the first goal of the game and then nine minutes later made the score 2-0. Just five minutes following the second goal, number three went in the back of the net. The Hawks weren't done at three. In the 79
th minute, Quincy slammed the door shut when it scored its fourth goal of the night.
The game was very physical from the opening whistle. There were seven yellow cards and a red card between the teams. Lindenwood was dominated in the shot column. The Hawks outshot Lindenwood 15-5 including 12-2 on goal.
The Lions now hold a 1-2-2 record on the year. Lindenwood will start the MIAA portion of its schedule on Saturday night at home against Southwest Baptist.
