Box Score The Lindenwood Lady Lions fell behind early to the No. 24 Central Missouri Jennies and could not recover in the team's first MIAA game of the year. The Lady Lions would eventually fall 2-0 on Friday night in St. Charles.

The Jennies got on the scoreboard quickly. Just 4:57 in Baylie Edwards scored her second goal of the season to give Central Missouri the 1-0 lead.

Over the next 76 minutes, neither team's offense could get anything going. With the game clock dwindling down, the Jennies put the game out of reach with their second goal of the game in the 80^th minute.  

The loss dropped the Lady Lions to 1-3-1 overall and 0-1 in MIAA play. Up next for Lindenwood will be a home game on Sunday afternoon against Missouri Western.
