Box Score 2 The Lindenwood women's volleyball team evened its season record after winning both of its matches on Saturday at the Christian Brothers Tournament. The Lady Lions defeated the host school and Alderson Broaddus.

In the opening match of the day, the Lady Lions defeated Christian Brothers by scores of 25-17, 25-21, and 25-19. Lindenwood won with its defense as it recorded eight blocks and 52 digs, and held Christian Brothers to a .151 hitting percentage.

Sarah Makowski led the team with 11 kills and five blocks. She hit .474 for the match.
Ivy Reynolds had 28 assists in her first match as the primary setter.
Anna Reichert led the team with 14 digs, and
Jessica Krygsheld and
Shannon Doyle also had double-figure dig totals.

In the second match, Lindenwood knocked off Alderson Broaddus by scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, and 25-22.

The Lady Lions were again strong defensively, recording 79 digs in the match. Reichert finished with a match-high 27, Krygsheld had 15, Doyle had 13, and Reynolds had 12.
Kayla Guyot had a hand in four of Lindenwood's six blocks.

Offensively, Doyle had a huge match with 22 of Lindenwood's 54 kills. Reynolds finished with 44 assists. Both of those players also had team-highs with three service aces.

Doyle and Makowski were both named to the all-tournament team at the conclusion of the event.
Lindenwood will head west next weekend for the CSU-Pueblo/UC-Colorado Springs Volleyball Classic.
