Wrestling Team Goes 3-1 in Midwest Duals

Lindenwood's wrestling team traveled to Kearney, Neb. to compete in the in the Midwest Duals. The wrestling team lost its opening dual to California Baptist. Lindenwood bounced back emphatically, by defeating Minot State 42-9, then Northern State 41-6, and finally the University of Mary, 41-3.

Setting the table for the rest of the team was 133 pound wrestler, Hunter Haralson, who went 3-0 on the day, including a major win against California Baptist, 14-0. Kyle Webb bounced back quickly after a loss to California Baptist in the first round, by winning consecutive matches. Bouncing back after a first round loss was a common theme for the Lions, as Kyle Jolas lost his first round match, then went on to win his next three, two of which were tech falls. John McArdle won three consecutive matches in dominating fashion, two tech falls and a major. Jacob Borgmeyer went 3-1 on the day.

Lindenwood gets back into MIAA duals next Thursday in Hyland Arena against Central Oklahoma.
