Box Score The Lady Lions scored a clutch victory over Central Missouri in Hyland Arena, 92-85. Despite falling to an 8-0 deficit to start the game, the Lady Lions rode huge performances by
Vanessa Zailo, who had 14 points 26 rebounds, and
Kassidy Gengenbacher, who scored 24.

The Lady Lions started out slow, while the Jennies started out on fire. Central Missouri jumped out to an 8-0 lead. Lindenwood battled back, relying on the shooting of
Kylie Ferguson to beat Central Missouri's zone. The Lady Lions went into halftime down by just three, 40-37. Lindenwood out shot Central Missouri 44 percent to 39 percent.

Lindenwood turned it on in the second half, completely flipping the script. The Lady Lions would go on to score 40, while the Jennies scored 37. Lindenwood went 14-31 from the field in the second half, while the Jennies shot 13-30 from the field. Following some exchanged buckets, Lindenwood pushed the game to overtime.

Lindenwood took control in the overtime, jumping out to a quick lead and never looked back. The Lady Lions shot three-for-six from the field, but the key was holding Central Missouri to one-for-eight from the field. Lindenwood also eight-for-12 from the line to seal the Lady Lions victory.

Gengenbacher and Zailo weren't the only ones to put up numbers for Lindenwood.
Jenny Rocha had 15 points and eight assists. Ferguson scored 13 points, including two threes, and six rebounds.
Jonna Raflund had an efficient day, going five-for-five, scoring ten points and bringing in eight rebounds in 13 minutes.

The win moves the Lady Lions record to 9-8, and 2-8 in conference. Coming up next for the Lady Lions is a game against Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo. on January 28th.
