Box Score The Lindenwood women's basketball team fell to Missouri Western on Saturday afternoon at Hyland Arena by an 87-59 score.

The Lady Lions could not slow down the Griffons' offense throughout the game. Missouri Western shot 50 percent in the first half, and then a blistering 67.9 percent in the final half. The Griffons were 58.9 percent from the field for the game, including 55 percent from three-point range. Lindenwood meanwhile shot 36 percent from the field, and four-of-14 on three-pointers.

Kassidy Gengenbacher led the offense with 24 points, Vanessa Zailo had a team-high eight rebounds, and Jenny Rocha had two assists and two steals.

Lindenwood falls to 9-10 overall and 2-10 in MIAA play. The Lady Lions return home on Wednesday night for a 5:30 p.m. game against Lincoln.
