The Lindenwood women's volleyball team defeated Missouri Western State 3-0 on Saturday night in Hyland Arena as it said farewell to five seniors.

Sarah-Jane Pavlik, and
Paige Straatman were all honored prior to the match for their hard work and dedication to the program.
The Lady Lions played a very strong first set which resulted in a 25-20 win. Seniors
Sara Gregor and
Kayla Guyot led the Lady Lions as Gregor had two kills and two blocks, and Guyot tallied three kills and two blocks.
Jessica Krygsheld put up four kills, while
Allyson Clancy dished out 11 assists.
Lindenwood took set two 25-20 as Guyot put up four more kills and Clancy tallied 13 assists. The Lady Lions were leading the set 24-20 when one of the longest rallies of the night ended in an attack by Clancy for the kill and the win.
Out of the break the Lady Lions struggled to get their grip and played from behind all set, but rallied back to tie the game at 17-17. From then on Lindenwood powered through to a 25-19 win in set three to beat Missouri Western 3-0 in the final match in Hyland Arena for the five seniors.
Gregor had a great farewell with eight kills and four blocks, while Guyot finished with 10 kills and three blocks along with one service ace.
Kristin Burnett played well with 12 digs in her final match in a Lindenwood uniform.
The win places Lindenwood at 15-15 on the year and 6-12 in the MIAA.
