Tuesday's Game-Lindenwood will play its first home game in Hyland Arena of the 2015-16 season on Tuesday when it hosts McKendree University at 12 p.m. in St. Charles, Mo.

-The Lady Lions will try to bounce back from a 77-69 loss to Quincy on Sunday. Lindenwood defeated Robert Morris-Peoria 111-38 on Saturday in the first game of the Quincy Classic. The Lady Lions set a school record for points in a game (111), and field goals made with (49).

-McKendree enters St. Charles, Mo. with a 1-3 record under first-year head coach Kari Kerkhoff. The Bearcats are on a three-game losing skid, including a 77-56 loss to Lincoln on Nov. 18th, and the most recent loss to another MIAA opponent in Southwest Baptist by a final of 51-48 on Saturday.

Kassidy Gengenbacher was named MIAA Player of the Week on Monday for her outstanding performance in her previous three games. Gengenbacher was dominant this past week helping the Lady Lions to a 2-1 record. Gengenbacher was 21-of-47 shooting from the field and 10-of-24 from behind the arc. Kassidy shot 16-of-22 from the free throw line and added 10 boards with 10 assists and seven steals.

-In a record-breaking game against Robert Morris-Peoria,
Hannah Bland led the team with 14 rebounds and added six points. Gengenbacher was the leading scorer with 21 points as four other Lady Lions scored in double figures;

Hannah Reller (10).

-On Sunday, Gengenbacher moved up in school history in career three-pointers made and free throws made. Kassidy is fifth in three-pointer made at 123 and can jump up as far as third place if she can knock down just four more. The junior has hit 284 free throws in her career which places her fifth all-time.Â

-By the end of the season, Gengenbacher could climb even higher on the leaderboard.Â
Jenny Rocha is in fifth place in career assists with 282, but is staring down fourth place which is just 18 assists away.

-Since the 2005-06 season, McKendree holds a 6-5 record over the Lady Lions, but Lindenwood has won four of the last five. Lindenwood defeated McKendree last season 80-75 in Lebanon, Ill. The Lady Lions were victorious in the 2013-14 season as well, winning 82-69 over the Bearcats in Hyland Arena.

-Both schools are very familiar with each other as Lindenwood and McKendree were members of the HAAC prior to Lindenwood moving to the MIAA, and McKendree leaving for the GLVC. In the Francis-era, the Lady Lions are 4-2 against the Bearcats, including a 2-1 record at home.

-Lindenwood will be on a 10-day break before opening up MIAA against Lincoln on Saturday, December 5th in Hyland Arena at 1 p.m.

McKendree Notes-The Bearcats are coached by Kari Kerkhoff who is in her first season as a collegiate head coach. Kerkhoff has started her career with a 1-3 record at McKendree.

-McKendree is led by Ellie Pusheck who has put up 9.3 points per game and averages 2.8 rebounds per game. Ellie and her twin, Emily have helped produce points for the Bearcats. Emily has tallied 9.0 points per contest with an average of 5.0 boards.

-The Bearcats are shooting .349 percent from the field, .205 percent from three-point range, and .720 percent from the charity stripe.
