Lady Lions Complete Home Stand This Weekend

Lindenwood Notes:
-Lindenwood is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the MIAA after an 83-68 loss to Central Oklahoma on Monday.
 
-Kassidy Gengenbacher is coming off of a 30-point game, and is now 8th in school history for career points.  Gengenbacher is also in 3rd place on the career three-pointers made list.
 
-Jenny Rocha put up 15 points and five assists on Monday.  Rocha sits in 4th place in Lindenwood history for career assists.
 
-Jerricah Butler is averaging 7.3 minutes per game in eight games played, and is a perfect 3-for-3 from the three-point line.  Butler also recorded her first career block against Central Oklahoma.
 
-Hannah Bland matched her season-high of 15 minutes played.  Bland put up four points, three steals, three rebounds, and one assists against the Bronchos.
 
-Lindenwood is 6-0 when leading at the half, and is 2-0 when coming off of a loss.  Lindenwood is 6-0 when it prevent its opponent from putting up 70 points or more.  The Lady Lions themselves have won just two games when scoring less than 70 points.
 
-The Lady Lions are 0-1 this season on games played on Friday.  The lone loss came against Wayne State College in the first game of the season.
 
-Charisse Williams is 9th in the nation in free throw percentage with 93.3 percent.  Williams is leading the MIAA and has made 23-consecutive free-throws.
 
-As a team, Lindenwood is 22nd in the nation with a 38.1 three-point percentage.  Gengenbacher is leading the team with 39.5 percent shooting from behind the arc.
 
Friday's Game:
-Lindenwood will host No. 16 Missouri Western on Friday night at 5:30 in Hyland Arena.
 
-The Lady Lions are 1-4 against the Griffons since 2012-13.  Lindenwood defeated Missouri Western in the second meeting of the 2013-14 season, which the Lady Lions pulled out a 72-60 victory.  In that game, Gengenbacher scored 15 points and Rocha put up 12 points.
 
-Missouri Western is 9-0 on the year and 4-0 in the MIAA.
 
Missouri Western Notes:
-Missouri Western is averaging 88.9 points per game and its margin of victory is by 27.2 points.
 
-The Griffons have a suffocating defense with 12.6 steals per game, 2.3 blocks per game, and force 23.7 turnovers per game.
 
-LaQuinta Jefferson is the cornerstone to the 2015-16 team.  Jefferson is averaging 22.0 points per game on 57.7 percent shooting from the field.  Jefferson grabs 5.9 boards per game and has compiled 13 steals with four blocks.
 
-Sarafina Handy is a threat as well with 14.7 points per game and 28-for-31 from the free throw line.  Miliakere Koyamainavure is leading the team with 20 steals and has put up 13.7 points per game.
 
-The Griffons are coached by Rob Edmisson who is in his fourth season and holds a 50-40 record at Missouri Western.
 
Sunday's Game:
-Lindenwood will complete its five-game home stand it a 1 p.m. game against Northwest Missouri State in Hyland Arena on Sunday.
 
-Northwest Missouri will visit Jefferson City, Mo. to take on Lincoln on Friday prior to Sunday's game.  Before the contest with the Blue Tigers, Northwest Missouri is in possession of a 2-8 overall record and a 0-4 record in the MIAA.
 
-Last time out, Lindenwood defeated the Bearcats 73-67 in Hyland Arena last season.  Northwest Missouri has split the season series with the Lady Lions in the past two seasons.
 
Northwest Missouri State Notes:
-The Bearcats are currently on a four-game losing streak (prior to the Lincoln game).  Three of the four losses have come on the road.
 
-After Sunday's game, Northwest Missouri State will return to Maryville, Mo. for a two-game stint, before heading back on the road.
 
-The Bearcats are led by Tanya Meyer who has put up 9.8 points per game and averages 4.2 rebounds per game.  Tember Schechinger is the rebounding leader with 6.6 per game.
