Lindenwood Notes:-The Lady Lions will travel to Topeka, Kan. on Saturday to take on Washburn at 5 p.m.
-Lindenwood will then make the trip to Emporia, Kan. for a game against No. 3 Emporia State on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
-The Lady Lions ended their 2015 portion of the season with a 7-4 overall record, and stand at 3-2 in conference play.

Jenny Rocha put up her first career double-double against Northwest Missouri State in a 74-70 win for the Lady Lions on December 20th. Jenny scored 15 points and dished out 10 assists against the Bearcats.

Kassidy Gengenbacher knocked down 24 points for her fifth game with 20 or more points this season. Gengenbacher also grabbed six defensive rebounds in the game. Kassidy is shooting 41.1 percent (36-for-87) from behind the three-point line as the Lady Lions are leading the MIAA with a 38.4 three-point field goal percentage.
-Lindenwood is 1-2 on the road this season including a 77-69 loss in November to Quincy in its most recent road game.
-Last season, Rocha put together an eight-game streak where she scored 10 points or more. Rocha is currently on a three-game streak with 15 points or more.
-A year ago, Gengenbacher tallied a 30-point game that was followed by two games with 10 points or more, then she had a career-high 37 points. In her previous three games, Gengenbacher has scored 30, 18, and 24 points respectively.
-The Lady Lions are 2-1 against Washburn, including a current two-game winning streak against the Ichabods.

Washburn Notes:-Washburn has played just two games at home this season, including a 58-48 win over Newman, and its only MIAA win at home against Southwest Baptist.
-The Ichabods are coached by Ron McHenry who is in his 16th season at Washburn. McHenry is 381-98 as head man of the women's program and he coached his 2004-05 team to a National Title.
-Washburn is led by Erika Lane and Jayna Smith. Lane is leading the team with 11.2 points per game and snags 3.9 rebounds per game. Smith is the team-leader in rebounds per game (8.8) and assists per game (3.1).
Monday's Game:-After the Saturday night game in Topeka, Kan. Lindenwood will make the trip to Emporia, Kan. to take on No. 3 Emporia State.
-Lindenwood is 0-3 against Emporia State including two losses on the road. Last season, the Lady Lions fell 97-52 to the then No. 1 Emporia State Hornets in Emporia, Kan.
-Rocha has put up 25 points in the previous two games against Emporia State, but she has only six assists in her three games against the Hornets.
-During her freshman season, Gengenbacher only had four games in which she scored fewer points than her 11-point night against Emporia State. Last season, Kassidy was held to a career-low two points which both came on free throws.
-Zailo had a solid night in the January 5th game last year by grabbing nine rebounds and put up 10 points.
Emporia State Notes:-Lindenwood will take on Emporia State who holds a 9-2 record overall and stand at 3-2 in the MIAA. Emporia State is coming off of a 90-69 win over Pittsburg State, and will return home to take on Lincoln on Saturday.
-The Hornets are coached by Jory Collins who is in his sixth season at Emporia State. Collins is 134-38 as head coach and has won the MIAA Tournament Championship the previous three seasons. The Hornets made it to the NCAA Division II Final Four last season.
-Emporia State has three players averaging more than 10 points per contest. Kelly Moten is the team-leader with 15.5 points per game on 61-of-137 shooting. Sandra Ngoie drops 12.3 points per game, and adds 6.9 rebounds per game.
-Kelsey Barnwell is the deep threat from the Hornets as she is shooting 41.5 percent from behind the arc for a total of 11.5 points per game. Moten and Barnwell have a combined 25 steals and 68 assists.
