Lindenwood's men's lacrosse team cruised to its seventh victory in eight games, by defeating Mars Hill University 13-4. Jon George scored three goals for the second consecutive game, and Graeme Hossack showed how versatile he was by scoring two goals and bringing in seven ground balls.
 
After letting up the first goal of the game, Hossack scored back-to-back goals to put Lindenwood ahead 2-1. Lindenwood's leading scorer Josh Coons got into the mix with a goal, followed by Kevin Eskridge and Andrew Szczepan, scoring a goal apiece to put Lindenwood up 5-1 going into the second quarter.
 
George scored his first goal to open up the second quarter. David Corazalla and Lane Rommel scored a goal apiece to put Lindenwood up 8-1. After a Mars Hill goal, George scored his second goal, but Lindenwood allowed another goal before the half ended. Lindenwood went into halftime with a 9-3 lead.
 
Lindenwood's second half performance continued to impress. After scoring five consecutive goals two days ago against Lenoir-Rhyne, Lindenwood outscored Mars Hill 4-1 in the second half. Rommel scored his second goal of the game, followed by George scoring his third goal of the game. After allowing a Mars Hill goal to close the third quarter, McNein Hewitt scored an unassisted goal to kick off the fourth quarter. Troy O'Donnell scored the last goal of the game to seal a Lindenwood win, 13-4.
 
With the win, Lindenwood's men's lacrosse team improves to 7-1. Lindenwood will now prepare to host Ohio Valley University on Saturday, April 4th for a conference game.
