Lindenwood's tennis teams traveled to Emporia, Kan. for a match against Emporia State, but both teams lost with the men losing 5-4, while the women lost 9-0. This was Lindenwood's last regular season match for both teams.

Getting a win for the men was Yoshikazu Ysa, the No. 2 continued to play well, winning 6-4, 6-3. Naoufal El Idrissi got the win at No. 3 for Lindenwood 6-0, 6-2. Johannes Rabenhorst won 7-5, 6-1. Nicholas Bruenger won his match 6-2, 6-4, helping give Lindenwood a four-match streak of consecutive victories. Slobodan Bavrlic fell just short of making it five before losing in his third set. The Lions lost all three doubles matches which proved to be the difference maker. All three matches were tightly contested, with Lindenwood losing 8-5, 8-6, and 8-6 again.

Lindenwood's women's team struggled to get much going, falling in all nine matches against the tough Emporia State team. Mariona Pinol stood out for the Lady Lions, taking her match to a third set before falling just short.

The loss gives the women's team a 5-15 record during the regular season, including 2-8 in conference play. For the men, the loss puts their record 5-13 at the end of season and 1-4 in conference play. The women's team will be done for the season, while the men will now get ready to partake in the MIAA Tournament, taking place in Springfield, Mo. on April 24th and 25th.
