The Lindenwood men's volleyball team saw its season come to an end on Tuesday night in Romeoville, Ill. with a 3-0 loss to No. 1 Lewis. The Flyers won the MIVA semifinal match by scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-18.

Lindenwood's best chance came in the first set when there were 10 ties and four lead changes. Lindenwood led 20-19 but Lewis ran off a 4-1 run that helped it escape the set with a win. The Flyers jumped out to an early lead in the final two sets and the Lions couldn't fight back.

Lewis finished with 44 kills and a .387 hitting percentage, while Lindenwood hit just .038 and had 24 kills. The Flyers had seven more blocks and 13 more digs on the defensive side of the net.

Kyle Overby led the team with six kills and eight points.
Jake Duckworth,
Zach Bequette, and
Colin Hackworth each had five kills.
Connor Metcalfe had 23 assists,
Ryan Vorderer recorded six digs, and Bequette had a team-high three blocks.
