Women's Basketball Stays in Missouri for Two Road Games

Lindenwood Notes:
-Lindenwood will head back on the road for two games this week.  The Lady Lions will travel to Warrensburg, Mo. on Wednesday night to take on Central Missouri at 5:30 p.m.  After a two-day break, Lindenwood will make the trip to Bolivar, Mo. for a 1 p.m. game against Southwest Baptist on Saturday.
 
-The Lady Lions will try to snap a four-game losing skid against the Jennies on Wednesday.  Lindenwood is 2-4 against Central Missouri, including a 1-2 record in Warrensburg, Mo.
 
-Lindenwood will visit Bolivar, Mo. on Saturday for the fourth time since the 2012-13 season.  The Lady Lions are an even 3-3 against the Bearcats.
 
-Kassidy Gengenbacher is in second place in all of Division II for active career leaders in scoring average with 17.5 points per game.  Gengenbacher has six games this season with 20 points or more and one 30-point game.
 
-Gengenbacher (1,235) is just three points away from surpassing Angie Warren (1,237) for fourth place on the career points list in school history.
 
-Jenny Rocha (202) needs three made free throws to crack the top ten for most free throws made in school history.  Rocha is also 23 assists away from moving into third place for career assists in school history.  Kristen Wixson (353) is currently in third place for career assists.
 
-Charisse Williams is second in the MIAA with 31 steals.  Williams leads a team that is third in the conference, and 46th in the nation in total steals.
 
-The Lady Lions 45.5 field goal percentage is second-best in the MIAA and places Lindenwood at 20th in the nation.
 
-In her previous seven games, Rocha has averaged 13.9 points per game, three rebounds per game, and just over four assists per game.  Jenny has also tallied 10 steals in over 33 minutes of action per contest.
 
Thursday's Game:
-Lindenwood upset Central Missouri on January 25, 2014 when the Jennies were ranked No. 8 in the nation.  The Lady Lions won on the road by a final of 65-64 for their first win over Central Missouri.
 
-Gengenbacher scored 17 points with five steals and two assists in the upset win.  Rocha tallied four points, two assists, and one steal in that game.
 
-Lindenwood won its second game over Central Missouri in a 92-85 overtime win on January 24, 2015 in Hyland Arena.  Five Lindenwood player scored in double-digits, while Vanessa Zailo grabbed a career-high 27 rebounds.  Zailo also compiled 14 points for a double-double.
 
-Gengenbacher put up 24 points, as Rocha dropped 15 points with eight assists.  Kylie Ferguson scored 13 points with five assists, and Jonna Raflund tallied 10 points with four rebounds.
 
-Zailo is averaging 12 points and 19 rebounds against the Jennies in her only two games played against Central Missouri.  Ferguson is averaging 12 points in her two games against the Jennies, and she has totaled seven assists and six rebounds.
 
-Rocha has played six games against the Jennies for averages of over seven points, four assists, two rebounds, and one steal per game.  Gengenbacher is averaging 18.8 points per game in four games played.
 
Central Missouri Notes:
-Central Missouri will enter Wednesday with a 5-8 record overall with a 4-4 MIAA record.  The Jennies lost their most recent game 62-59 against Missouri Southern, but they had won their previous three games.
 
-The Jennies are coached by Dave Slifer who is in his 27th season as a head coach and 11th win Central Missouri.  Slifer holds a 605-218 career record, and a 221-119 mark with the Jennies.
 
-Central Missouri is led by offensive force Shelby Winkelmann who is averaging 21.4 points per game which is second best in the conference and 11th in the nation.
 
-Ashley Jones had grabbed 108 rebounds for the Jennies which is ninth in the MIAA and in the top-150 in the nation.
 
-Tayler Weiks is the deep threat for the Jennies with 26 three-pointers made on the season.  Weiks has attempted 68 this year for a 38.2 shooting percentage from behind the arc.
 
 
Saturday's Game:
-Lindenwood will travel to Bolivar, Mo. to take on Southwest Baptist at 1 p.m. on Saturday.  The Lady Lions last defeated the Bearcats in the final meeting with Southwest Baptist last season. 
 
-Lindenwood won 89-76 in Hyland Arena, but fell 70-60 earlier in the season in Bolivar, Mo.
 
-In the 2013-14 season, Lindenwood swept the series with a 71-66 win at home, and a 94-82 victory at Southwest Baptist.
 
-In the Lady Lions only road win on February 11, 2014, Gengenbacher scored 19 points with two rebounds and one steal.  Rocha dropped 20 points with five assists and on steal.  One year later, Rocha had a near identical night with just one less assists.
 
-In her first game against the Bearcats last season, Zailo grabbed 13 rebounds and scored eight points.  Less than a month later, Zailo tallied 14 points with 18 rebounds for a double-double.
 
-In six career games against Southwest Baptist, Rocha is averaging 14.5 points, with 3.2 assists, and 2.5 rebounds per game.  Gengenbacher has faced the Bearcats four times and has put up solid number of 19.8 points per game, and 4.3 rebounds per game.  Kassidy is also averaging 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest.
 

Southwest Baptist Notes:
-The Bearcats currently hold a 7-6 overall record with a 2-5 conference mark.  Southwest Baptist will host Lincoln on Thursday night before its match up with Lindenwood on Saturday.
 
-The Bearcats are coached by Kelsey Keizer who is in her second season as head coach.  Keizer holds a 16-24 overall record as Southwest Baptist.
 
-Caylee Richardson and Megan Rosenbohm are the top two scorers from the Bearcats.  Richardson is averaging 12.0 points per game on 63.0 percent shooting.  Caylee is adding 8.2 rebounds per game on 29.1 minutes per contest.  Richardson leads the MIAA with an 87.2 free throw percentage.
 
-Rosenbohm has put up 11.2 points per game with 1.9 steals per game.  Dilonna Johnson is the long shooter for the Jennies with 23 makes on 67 attempts.  Johnson has dished out a team-high 3.9 assists per game.
