The Lindenwood women's volleyball team dropped the final match of the season to Missouri Western by a 3-0 final in St. Joseph, Mo. on Saturday afternoon.

Lindenwood fell 25-13 in the opening set, but hit .250 as a team with the help of a .600 hitting percentage by senior
Sarah Makowski who had three kills. The Lady Lions did not register a block in the first set while the Griffons hit .552 for the set. Missouri Western defeated the Lindenwood by the same score in set two, 25-13.Â
Kailene Young led the team with three kills on a .400 hitting percentage.Â
Anna Reichert tallied the only service ace of the match in the second set.

The Griffons closed out the day with a 25-15 win in set three.Â
Aleah Rosenau registered three kills, one block, one dig, and one assist in the final frame. Makowski and Doyle each finished with six kills while Makowski added one dig and one as Doyle put up three digs with one block.Â
Heidi Bohrer posted four digs with one assist and
Brandy Reinhardt tallied three blocks and one kill.

Lindenwood ends the season with an 11-19 overall record and a 5-13 mark in the MIAA.
