The Bulldogs answered though, outscoring the Lions 18-4 in the final 3:25 of the half, including a three-point at the buzzer. That run put the Lions in a 47-41 hole.

Truman extended its lead to nine early in the second half, but Lindenwood went on a 9-0 run to tie the game. Seven of those points came from bench players, including a layup by Rayko Dundalov that tied the game at 53.

The two teams battled evenly for the next seven minutes, before the Lions started to pull away. A three-pointer by LJ McIntosh put the Lions ahead 72-70 with 7:32 left, and that was the final lead change of the game. Lindenwood's defense held the Bulldogs without a point for the next 3:31, and the Lions extended their lead to seven points in that span. Truman got within a basket at 81-79, but Lindenwood answered with nine straight points to put the contest away.

Four Lions had career-high nights in scoring, led by LJ McIntosh with 26 points. He hit six-of-eight from three-point range, and was nine-of-14 total from the field. His six three-pointers were the seventh-most in program history for a game. Eighteen of his 26 points came in the final half.
