Women's Hockey Returns Home to Host RIT

Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team returns home to the Lindenwood Ice Arena for the first time since its exhibition series with the Minnesota Whitecaps on Oct. 15-16. The Lady Lions will host the RIT Tigers for a two-game CHA series on Nov. 18-19. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, followed by a 3:00 p.m. start on Saturday afternoon.

- Lindenwood and RIT have faced-off 14 times dating back to the start of the 2012 season. RIT holds the edge in the all-time series, 5-4-5. Lindenwood had success against RIT last season, posting a 2-1-1 record in the four matchups, including a 1-1 record in Wentzville, Mo.

- RIT arrives in Wentzville, Mo. with a 1-13-0 record, including a 0-4-0 record from within the CHA. The Tigers are 0-5-0 on the road this season. Most recently RIT dropped both games of a conference series in Rochester, N.Y. versus the top-ranked team in the CHA, Robert Morris. The Tigers were edged by scores of 4-3 and 5-1.

- RIT is led offensively by Kendall Cornine, who ranks first on the team in goals, points, power-play goals, and game-winning goals. Cornine has scored three goals this season, all coming on the power play. Terra Lanteigne has made nine starts in net for the Tigers, totaling a .907 save percentage and a 3.02 goals against average.

Lindenwood Notes:
- Britannia Gillanders registered her first two goals of the season, including a shorthanded score at Penn State on Nov. 11-12.

- Gillander's shorthanded goal in the second period on Nov. 12 at Penn State was Lindenwood's first shorthanded tally since Shara Jasper scored while on the penalty kill at Merychurst on Nov. 14, 2015.

- Kirsten Martin notched her team-leading second power-play goal of the season during the second period on Nov. 11 at Penn State.

- Jolene deBruyn started both contests in University Park, Pa. against the Nittany Lions. deBruyn put together her two best performances of the season, turning in 47 saves for a .922 save percentage.
- Carla Goodwin assisted on each of the first two goals at Penn State on Nov. 11. Goodwin is tied for the team lead in assists.

- Ally Larson and Cierra Pasiley each dished out one assist at Penn State. Paisley is tied for the team-high in assists, while Larson got on the scoresheet for the first time this season.

- Emma Hare has won 27 of her 46 faceoffs for a team-leading mark of 58.7 percent success rate. Martin leads the team with 42 draws won.

- With 13 shots in the first period at Penn State on Nov. 12, Lindenwood established a new season-high single-period mark. Nine Lady Lions were credited with at least one shot.
