Women's Basketball Will Host Lindenwood-Belleville

The Lindenwood women's basketball team is set to host Lindenwood-Belleville at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena on Tuesday night in St. Charles, Mo.
 
Lindenwood Notes:
-The Lady Lions (2-2) are coming off of a 68-56 win over visiting Puerto Rico-Mayaguez this past Wednesday.  Gabby Walker led the team with 19 points and eight rebounds while Kylie Ferguson made two three-pointers and totaled 12 points.
 
-Charisse Williams had a well-rounded game with five points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Lindenwood tallied 52 rebounds and dished out 15 assists while shooting just under 40 percent from the field.
 
-Kallie Bildner (14.3) and Gabby Walker (11.5) are leading the team in points per game while Bildner is snagging 8.0 rebounds per game and Walker is grabbing 5.8 per contest.
 
-Lindsay Medlen and Alex Haley each have 14 assists on the year and Charisse Williams is averaging 2.3 steals per game.
 
-Kallie Bildner ranks 14th in the conference with her 14.3 scoring average and is tied for sixth with 8.0 rebounds per game.  Alex Haley is 10th in the MIAA with a 1.8 assists/turnover ratio.
 
-Lindenwood holds a 13.3 rebounding advantage and has knocked down 42.6 percent of its shots from the field, but is under 70 percent on free-throws.
 
-The Lady Lions are fifth in rebounding in the MIAA and allow just 30.3 rebounds per game which ranks third in the conference.
 
-Lindenwood travels to Monticello, Ark. On Monday, December 5th to take on Arkansas at Monticello for a 3 p.m. start.  After the road game, Lindenwood will return home and open conference play in Hyland Arena on December 8th at 5:30 p.m. against Pittsburg State.
 
 
Tuesday's Game:
-The Lady Lions have a 3-0 record against the Lynx although the two teams have not met since the 2011-12 season when Lindenwood defeated Lindenwood-Belleville twice in less than a month.
 
-After defeating Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, Lindenwood earned its first home victory since a 74-70 win over Northwest Missouri on December 20, 2016.
 
-The Lynx will visit St. Charles, Mo. with a 4-2 record after starting the season 2-0.  Lindenwood-Belleville has not played since its 59-58 overtime-loss to Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) on November 19 in Belleville, Ill.
 
Lindenwood-Belleville Notes:
-Ali Webb (17.5) and Brianna Mueller (12.5) lead the team in scoring while Webb is grabbing just under 10 rebounds per game.
 
-Torre Kohrmann is shooting 11-of-29 from behind the arc as she averages 9.1 points per game with a game-high three three-pointers made it two games this season.
 
-The Lynx are coached by Jeff Reis who is in his fourth season as the head coach.  Reis is 53-47 in his career at Lindenwood-Belleville including an 11-20 season last year.
