The Lindenwood men's basketball team fell to Washburn on Saturday night in Topeka, Kan. The Lions lost their first MIAA road game of the season by a 78-60 score.

Washburn pulled away in the first half thanks to a big difference in three-point shooting. The Ichabods hit seven-of-10 from beyond the arc, while the Lions were two-of-11 from long distance. The five extra three-pointers gave Washburn a 41-26 lead at halftime.

Washburn opened the second half on an 11-2 run to extend its lead to 52-28, and the Lions could never get closer than 17 the rest of the way.

The Lions shot just 37.7 percent from the field in the game, including 27.6 percent from three-point range. Washburn shot 59.6 percent from the field, and was 10-of-17 from three-point range.

Dominique Dobbs collected his eighth double-double of the season after collecting 13 points and 10 rebounds. He shot seven-of-seven from the free-throw line, and had four offensive rebounds.
Jackson Price was also in double-figures scoring with 13 points, and he knocked down three three-pointers.
Chandler Diekvoss finished the game with nine points.

Lindenwood falls to 9-4 on the season and 1-2 in MIAA play. The Lions have their final game before Christmas break on Monday evening at Emporia State.
