The Lindenwood women's basketball team will travel to Emporia, Kan. on Monday to take on No. 5 Emporia State at 5:30 p.m.

-The Lady Lions are looking to bounce back from a 73-49 loss to Washburn on Saturday evening in Topeka, Kan.

-Lindenwood struggled to generate baskets as it shot less than 30 percent from the field and was outrebounded 44-36.Â
Gabby Walker led the team with 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds while
Kallie Bildner scored just two points and snagged eight boards.

-The Lady Lions are shooting 44.6 percent from the field which is third-best in the MIAA, but they sit at the bottom of the barrel in three-point percentage with 20.5 percent.

Kallie Bildner leads the MIAA with her 55.1 field goal percentage and
Gabby Walker is fourth in the league with a 54.0 field goal percentage.

-Lindenwood is fourth in the conference with a 9.9 rebounding margin with the help of
Kallie Bildner grabbing the third most rebounds in the MIAA with 9.4 per contest.

Lindsay Medlen is leading the team with 3.2 assists per game and
Charisse Williams has tallied a team-high 1.8 steals per game.

Monday's Game:
-Lindenwood will carry a 5-4 record and a 1-2 mark in the MIAA to Emporia, Kan. The Lady Lions are 2-3 on the road this season.

-Emporia State will enter Monday with a 10-1 overall record and a 2-1 conference record. The Hornets lost to Fort Hays State by three points on Dec. 10, but bounced back with an 85-59 win over Lincoln on Saturday.

-Lindenwood is winless against Emporia State in the four meetings since the 2012-13 season. Last year the Hornets defeated Lindenwood 87-58 in Emporia, Kan.

Charisse Williams posted 16 points with two assists and one steal in the Jan. 4 meeting on the road.Â

Emporia State Notes:
-Kelly Moten leads the Hornets with 16.3 points per game which also ranks seventh-best in the MIAA. Moten is adding 4.5 assists, 2.1 steals, and 4.8 rebounds per game.

-Addie Lackey (13.7) and Kyrstie Miller (12.4) are also scoring in double-digits for Emporia State. Tiana Moala is scoring 8.1 points per contest and is grabbing 7.5 rebounds per game.

-Emporia State is coached by Jory Collins who holds a 163-43 record and is in his seventh season.
