Women's Basketball Travels to Arkansas for Non-Conference Tilt

The Lindenwood women's basketball team will head to Monticello, Ark. on Monday to take on Arkansas at Monticello at 3 p.m. in the final non-conference game before the Lady Lions begin MIAA play.
 
Lindenwood Notes:
-The Lady Lions look to put together a three-game winning streak after back-to-back wins in Hyland Arena.  Lindenwood defeated Lindenwood-Belleville on Tuesday night by a final of 71-67 in St. Charles, Mo.
 
-Alex Haley led the team with 13 points while Kallie Bildner grabbed 11 rebounds.  Charisse Williams played a well-rounded game with 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals. 
 
-Sara Ross chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds, four steals, and three assists to help the Lady Lions to victory.  Lindenwood shot over 46 percent from the field, but was just 1-for-8 from behind the arc.
 
-Kallie Bildner is leading the squad with 13.0 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.  Lindsay Medlen is leading the team with 16 assists and four blocks while averaging 6.0 points per game.  Gabby Walker is having a consistent start to her career with 11.0 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per contest.
 
-Lindenwood holds a 10.6 rebounding advantage over its five opponents this year and is averaging a slim 3.4 points more per game than the opposition.
 
-The Lady Lions are shooting 43.4 percent from the field, 22.1 percent from three-point range, and 70.4 percent from the charity stripe.
 
-Lindenwood will return to Hyland Arena on Thursday night to take on Pittsburg State at 5:30 p.m. in the first MIAA game of the season.
 
Monday's Game:
-Lindenwood will face Arkansas at Monticello for the third time since 2013-14.  Arkansas at Monticello defeated the Lady Lions 84-74 on Nov. 9, 2013 in Monticello, Ark., but Lindenwood evened the series after a 70-68 win in St. Charles, Mo. the following year.
 
-In the Nov. 14, 2014 meeting, Beth Maenpaa and Bre Zanders each scored four points and Kylie Ferguson put up seven points.  Maenpaa grabbed four rebounds while Zanders snagged eight and Ferguson tallied two rebounds with one assist and two steals.
 
-Lindenwood enters the game at 3-2 after back-to-back wins while Arkansas at Monticello is 3-3 after back-to-back losses.  The Blossoms are 3-1 at home as the Lady Lions are just 1-2 on the road this year.
 
Arkansas at Monticello Notes:
-The Blossoms are coming off back-to-back losses including a 69-55 loss on Saturday afternoon to Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
-Treasure Evans is leading the team with 13.8 points per contest while Regerina Baker is grabbing 8.8 boards per game.  Ayesha Wahid (11.8) and Taylor Collins (10.0) are averaging in double digits.
