The Lindenwood women's basketball team will open conference play on Thursday night against No. 4 Pittsburg State at 5:30 p.m. in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

-The Lady Lions will return to Hyland Arena with a 4-2 record after an 80-57 win over Arkansas at Monticello on Monday afternoon in Monticello, Ark.

Jerricah Butler set new career-highs with her 10 points and seven rebounds as she added two assists with one steal.

-The Gorillas are ranked fourth in the nation due to a 9-0 record and a 2-0 conference mark. Pittsburg State defeated opponents by 18 points or more in the first seven games, but MIAA competition narrowed the margins.

-In MIAA play, Pittsburg State defeated Nebraska-Kearney 84-80 and No. 25 Fort Hays State 70-58 in the previous two games.
