Series Notes:-The Lindenwood women's hockey team travels to University Park, Pa. for a two-game series on February 12-13 from the Pegula Ice Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday and 3:00 p.m. EST on Saturday afternoon.
-This past weekend, the Lady Lions concluded the home portion of their regular season schedule with a two-game series vs. RIT. Lindenwood dropped the first matchup by a final score of 3-2, before winning the final game of the series on Saturday afternoon 2-1. Â
-Earlier this season on Oct. 30-31, the Nittany Lions arrived in Wentzville, Mo. for a two-game series at the Lindenwood Ice Arena. Heading into the third-period during the first game Penn State held a 2-1 lead. The Lady Lions responded with four unanswered goals during the final period, winning by a score of 5-2. The two teams skated to a 1-1 tie the following evening. Lindenwood leads the all-time series 8-6-2 dating back to the 2012-13 season.
-Penn State enters into the weekend series with a 9-16-5 record and a 5-6-5 mark within the CHA. The Nittany Lions currently sit fourth in the conference standings with a total of 15 points. Penn State is led offensively by Amy Petersen who has compiled a team-high 21 points. Between the pipes for the Nittany Lions, Celine Whitlinger leads the CHA in save percentage at .943 and in goals against average with a mark of 1.64.
Lindenwood Notes:-
Shara Jasper was named as the CHA Player of the Week for the third time this season for the week of Feb. 1-7. Jasper tallied two goals and two assists during the two-game series vs. RIT.
-Following her two-goal performance on Saturday, Jasper recorded her program record fourth game-winning goal of the season. It was Jasper's eighth multi-point game of the season. Â

Sarah Bobrowski also contributed four points during the weekend series with RIT, scoring two goals on Friday night before adding two assists on Saturday. Â
-Bobrowski has tied the Lindenwood single-season assist record with 17 helpers to her credit this season.
-For the second-time in program history the Lady Lions have three scorers with at least 20 points. Jasper leads the team with 29, followed by Bobrowski's total of 24, and
Shannon Morris-Reade with 21. Â
 -Lindenwood has outshot its opponent in the last three consecutive games, averaging 38 shots per game.

-The Lady Lions set a program record with their 96th team assist of the season on Saturday vs. RIT. The previous program record of 94 assists was set by the 2011-12 team.
-
Corbin Welsh continues to be a force in the faceoff circle for the Lady Lions, raising her season winning-percentage to 51%. Jasper ranks second on the squad with a winning percentage of 47%.
-Following her two starts in goal vs. RIT,
Nicole Hensley raised her season save percentage to a career-best .927, the 16th best percentage in the NCAA.
-Lindenwood will conclude the regular season portion of its 2015-16 schedule with a road series vs. Syracuse on Feb. 19-20. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST on Friday evening and 3 p.m. EST on Saturday.
